What is Happening in Texas this September:  September is one of those months in Texas where fairs and festivals really start kicking up and the best part about this month, is it is the start of one of our local fairs, Fort Bend County Fair. 1. September 22^nd – 23^rd : Galveston Island Shrimp Festival in Galveston: bring foodies a little taste of heaven!
2. September 29^th – October 7^th : Waller County Fair in Hempstead: The mission is to promote a wholesome and productive lifestyle for our youth.
3. September 29^th – October 8^th : Fort Bend County Fair in Rosenberg : Proud Traditions Inspiring Our Future
4. September 29^th – October 22^nd : State Fair of Texas in Dallas: Another season of food, festivities, and family fun.
5. September 30^th – Kolache Fest in Hallettsville: Come have a blast at the Sweetest Party in Texas!
