Today is National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day! Do you have an ugly Christmas Sweater? If so, tomorrow is your day to wear it loud and proud!

I remember when Alex was in school, they had an Ugly Christmas sweater contest. Alex would work on applying all sorts of stuff to an old sweater in the days before that third Friday in December. I guess I am proud of the fact that she won it her senior year at Ridge Point. If you look at the picture you can see the hard work and dedication she put into making her sweater the “ugliest.”

Since 2011, it has grown to be an international event. Now occurring on the third Friday of December, the celebration gives holiday lovers worldwide a chance to wear their ugly Christmas sweaters.
