June 1st- June 22nd – Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival – University of Houston: Now in its third decade. June 10th to June 16th – Great Texas Balloon Race in Longview: The Great Texas Balloon Race is a hot air balloon festival. It happens each summer. Normally held in the area nearby the East Texas Regional Airport. Established in 1978, it’s billed as “The longest running hot-air balloon event in Texas.” Learn more here.
June 20th- June 23rd – Oak Cliff Film Festival in Dallas: The Oak Cliff Film Festival has established itself as a significant city-wide event. It features the best of Oak Cliff’s theatre and art venues, restaurants, bars, and small businesses. OCFF showcases brave and independent filmmaking of all stripes.
