Fort Bend County Fair Starts Next Week!

The Fort Bend County Fair starts next week! This is an exciting time for kids from across the county as they exhibit their livestock projects in hopes of making one of two sales. The premium sale is for top placing animals in each of the divisions. The freezer sale is for animals that didn’t quite make the premium sale.

If you would like to help these exhibitors out, a great way to do so is to sign up as a bidder. You can do so by visiting https://www.fbcfa.fairwire.com to register to become a bidder. You don’t have to actually buy an animal. Ask to be an add-on buyer, which is a great way to help out some of these kiddos.

Their premium money from the fair helps to purchase their next project, feed their next project, or can even help them pay for their college education. Remember that the Fort Bend County Fair is a non-profit, so your purchases are tax deductible. If you would like to purchase a project, and have it butchered, that can be arranged, too. You can even split it with a neighbor or some friends and family.

In conclusion, The Fort Bend County Fair starts next week! Have questions? Need supplies? Arcola Feed is open Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call or visit us anytime between then!
