Every month we try to bring in a few new products for our customers.

This past month we added a product called Texas T by Stock Show Secrets.  Texas T is a liquid supplement that provides vitamins, minerals, and energy but does not derive its energy from caloric fat, the way most other supplements do.  Its energy comes from a proprietary blend of sugars, starches, and carbohydrates that are easier on sensitive digestive tracts than fatty supplements. Texas T can be used on sheep, goats, hogs, and cattle.  It can be used as a drench or mixed in with the feed, and is an excellent show animal supplement, and also can be used on animals that have been stressed or sick.  It is available at Arcola Feed in one-gallon jugs.

Another new livestock item available at Arcola Feed is Purina High Octane Golden Ticket.  This is an innovative cutting-edge product! Calorie dense extruded nugget contains Tasco, ground flaxseed, Peleton, Zinpro, Limbitine, and Puriferm. I have been using it in my goat herd on my weanlings and yearlings for about 30 days and it has made a TREMENDOUS difference in feed intake, rate of gain, and overall bloom in my show babies and does.  It can be fed alone as a creep ration or mixed in with feed at an inclusion rate of 1 to 3 pounds/head/day in sheep, goats, and pigs and 2-3 pounds/head/day in cattle.  Although we have had it, we have been having problems keeping Maximum Bully dog food in stock.  Hopefully, we have eliminated that problem and it will be more readily available and we can keep it well stocked.
