If you have a student in 4-H or FFA, those students qualify for an ag-timber number through the state comptrollers office which will make your taxable purchases for your projects TAX EXEMPT.

Simply visit Agricultural and Timber Exemptions (texas.gov) to fill out the online application. If you bring your letter from the comptroller’s office, with your courtesy cards at the bottom, into the feed store, we can get your set up on our computer.

This makes it easy for you to track your purchases for your records, it also makes it easy to know what you have previously purchased in the way of feed and supplements so there isn’t confusion.

Arcola Feed can also put a credit card securely into our system if you have a student that you do not want to just simply hand a credit card over to. Most students will save from $200 to $500 PER PROJECT by having an ag-timber number. Ag timber numbers issued this year are good through the year 2023.
