Spring Bird Migrations
Spring Bird Migrations: One of my favorite parts about spring is the magnitude of migratory birds that the warmer weather brings in. During March, the spring bird migration is on and there will be lots of awesome birds coming through here on their way back north.
You might see a big flock of Cedar Waxwings, and if you do, they will only be here for a day or two. These birds eat berries and seeds such as pyrocantha and soap berry and move on. You might also get the chance to see a variety of songbirds, so make sure you keep your binoculars out and ready.
With this being said, we have just expanded our lines of wild bird feeds and feeders. Getting these set out and ready to go can drastically help keep these migratory birds fueled up and ready to continue their migration. So stop on by and visit with us at Arcola Feed, where if you have any questions about how to feed wild birds or different types of migratory birds, any of our avid birding enthusiast.
In addition, check out some of the wild bird feed we offer by Thomas Moore listed here on our website.
