Midwestern Pet Foods recently announced a partial recall on several SKU’s of Sportmix pet foods (dog and cat) due to high levels of aflatoxin.

We have checked current inventory and previous shipment date/product codes and we are happy to report that we did not receive any of the affected bags.  We will do our best to stay on top of this issue!

“Midwestern Pet Foods has committed to recalling nine lots of Sportmix products, the FDA said. The FDA and Missouri Department of Agriculture are working to determine if any others need to be recalled.:

The lot code, which begins with the letters “EXP” is located on the back of the bag.
