Self Affirmations Do you practice self affirmations? Give it a try on National Compliment Your Mirror Day….which basically means, walk up to your mirror, take a look at that person staring back at you and compliment them!

Sometimes, we get so caught up in what is going on in this world, we forget to take care of ourselves.  Start today by looking at that mirror and giving yourself not one, not two, but three or even more compliments.  Self affirmations are a WONDERFUL way to start your day with a bright outlook.

Having a hard time coming up with more than one thing to compliment?  Well, you shouldn’t be.  We all have things to be proud of.  For example, our children, even if they didn’t win an award during the ceremony at school.  If your student passed or graduated this year, congratulate yourself for your part in that hard work.  Working on losing weight?  Give yourself a big smile for being even one or two pounds down.
