Rodeo Houston is back and in full swing! Besides the rodeo, there are great livestock shows every day! From Brahman to Zebu, Boer goats to Llamas, there is a show for just about everything!

Grab the family and head on over for lots of fun, and a great learning experience! You might get lucky and be able to watch an animal being born in the maternity ward, or chicks hatch! You can view the daily schedule at rodeohouston.com.

You can do some shopping and grab a great lunch on the go. Don’t forget the carnival, too! While we haven’t shown in a few years, my family has exhibited quarter horses, paint horses, brahman, beefmaster, miniature herefords, boer goats and poultry in the past.

It just hasn’t worked out with our schedule to show in the last few years. However, we are looking forward to next year when we will hopefully start exhibiting again.
