New Beginnings: Today is Alex’s first day of Vet School at Mississippi State! Here’s to new beginnings and her having an enjoyable four years learning about something she has wanted to do her ENTIRE life! I am so proud of her and I know she will be a great veterinarian!

If you have a dream, don’t give up on it. She has had so many people tell her that she wasn’t smart (starting with her Kindergarten teacher who claimed she had a learning disability.) Alex was turned down for G/T testing in elementary school. She was NOT recommended for AP math classes in middle school. Yet she persevered and even won a LITERAL handful of medals at the academic pentathlon. Most of those being gold medals in individual events.

She struggled with a few classes here and there, in both high school and during her undergrad studies at TAMU(Organic Chemistry.) However, she has never failed a class. Hard work, dedication and determination are her strong suits and I am sure she will rock the next four years!

In conclusion, Arcola Feed is so excited for these new beginnings! Hail State, and way to go, baby girl!
