National Take Your Dog To Work Day
Today is National Take Your Dog To Work Day!
Our dogs go to work with us just about every day! Duke rides in the back seat of Jay’s truck to get from home to work and back, while Mouse usually rides on her bath mat on the console of my truck. They spend their days hanging out, napping, hanging out, napping, playing with each other, napping, going outside to potty, napping, and more napping. They are both actually very active dogs, with Mouse protecting our house and yard from vermin such as squirrels and rabbits, while Duke watches the skies for vultures, hawks, and herons that fly over. On our days off, they hang out with us in the barn and around the garden. They both enjoy truck rides and riding around in the Ranger. Duke jumps into the cattle water troughs to cool off several times a day, while Mouse prefers to just lay in the shade. She is too short to get into most of the troughs anyway.
