Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there! I would like to put a special shout out to TWO VERY IMPORTANT mothers in my life, my mom, and my mother-in-law.

My mom, who had me at the age of 16, is an incredible mom!   She is a hard-worker, and has always been dedicated to the well being of her two kids: me, and my younger brother, Lance.   She always made sure we had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t need. For me, that meant HORSES! Lots of horses!

Before I could drive, she always took me down to the barn, twice a day, every day to feed and take care of them. When I started competing, she was my chauffeur.  She never missed a horse show or a rodeo. We are still very close, and talk almost daily.

My mother-in-law, Sharon, and I have a very special relationship.  She is more of a friend than a mother-in-law.  We spend lots of time together, talking and we play Scrabble a couple of times a week.

I ADORE both of these ladies and I hope you both know how special you are to me!  Thanks for putting up with me for all these years!  Happy Mother’s Day!
