Happy Memorial Day! We at Arcola Feed hope that you and your families are gathering and spending a little time together.

The past 15 months or so have been hard on all of us and it is nice to be able to get out, enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, and enjoy the company of those that we love.

We are closed today so our staff can spend some time with their families, but never fear, we will be back open in June—–which is actually tomorrow! It is hard to believe that May is now over.

The “dog days” of summer are just around the corner. Speaking of dogs, please make sure that your outside pets have plenty of shade and lots of water!

Place their drinking water out of the sun, nobody likes to drink warm water! You can help keep it cool by freezing milk jugs full of water and placing them in their water in the morning. A kiddie pool makes a great place for your dogs to lay in during the summer to cool off! The water doesn’t even need to be deep. Mouse and Duke are having a happy memorial day and enjoy hanging out in the water troughs to cool off.
