Alex is fortunate to have a dad that works hard so we could save money her entire life for her education. Jay is probably the hardest working person I know. He hates not being at the store. The day of his discharge after an appendectomy he came to work. He was also at work right after being in the hospital for 30 days after his surgery.

He built this business from the ground up and is convinced it will not survive without him. I spent over 30 years trying to convince him otherwise, and have just about given up. Hey, we get to go on vacation together at least once every five or so years, as long as we aren’t gone for more than about four nights he is okay with that frequency. Other than that, it’s a day here and there for him, and a few days here and there for me.
