Happy 55th Birthday to Jay! Not only is today Chick Day, today is also Jay’s 55th birthday! Hard to believe he is actually that old!

For those of you who don’t know, Jay and I have known each other since Middle School. Although, back then it was called Junior High. We went to the same schools. He is a year older than me, though. Jay and I started dating in August of 1986. We got engaged on Valentines Day, 1987. We didn’t get married until 1995, and Alex was born on December 20th of that year.

I have literally spent 2/3 of my life with this man. He probably deserves an award for putting up with me for this long. However, I have to say, I should get one, too. He is ONE hard headed man. With that being said, he is also one of the hardest working, most dedicated human beings when it comes to his business which he literally built from the ground up. If you come by the store today, be sure and tell him “Happy birthday!”
