November Happenings in Texas: This is my favorite time of year to start attending outdoor events. It is starting to get colder and the days tend to get less hot during the day – which gives everyone so many opportunities to be outside and enjoy all of the amazing events that are going on.

List of Events:

• November 7th-17th – Houston Cinema Arts Society Festival – Houston
  

  HCAF 2024 will feature a wide variety of curated feature films with a focus on the diverse cultural community of Houston, Texas. HCAF 2024 will also see the tenth Anniversary of CineSpace, our annual short film competition with NASA, as well as the fifth annual regional short film competition Borders

• November 16^th: Shiner Beer Run – Shiner

  Please join us for the 13th annual running of The Shiner Beer Run, benefiting the Boot Campaign! You can challenge yourself on the gently rolling hills through downtown. Or, the surrounding neighborhoods, scenic Green-Dickson Park, the beautiful country side and the majestic Manure Mile in Historic Shiner, Texas with the Half Marathon, 10k or 5k. All proceeds from the event are donated to The Boot Campaign.

• November 15^th – January 1^st : Holiday Lights – Sugar Land

  The 11th annual Sugar Land Holiday Lights presented by Houston Methodist returns to Constellation Field November 15 through January 5! Bring your friends and family out to enjoy over 3.5 million lights, a dazzling 40 ft. light up tree, light shows, numerous themed displays, Santa Claus (through 12/23), holiday vendors, food and SO much more!

• November 21st: Yoakum Sip and Shop – Yoakum
  Grab a gal to sip and shop your way through downtown Yoakum! Enjoy vendors, extended shopping hours and drawings galore.
