Spring is a great time to add to your existing flock. We just received a shipment of baby chicks and ducks!

We have a super cute assortment of duck breeds as well as brown egg laying chicks! Duck eggs are wonderful for baking and ducks make great companions! Both ducks and chicks are flock animals so keeping only one is not recommended. Two or three is a great number for the first time bird enthusiast! 

We also have the food and all of the supplies you need at Arcola Feed to get your new babies off to the right start, including some handy little care booklets to help you learn all about taking care of these little fluffy wonders!  They will need supplemental heat for the first few weeks, so don’t forget the heat lamps if you don’t already have them! Chicks and ducks will need to be kept on starter food for the first four months or so of life to get them the protein they need to grow properly.
