Delicious Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe
Delicious Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe Time! While I know this Casserole is generally made for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but this recipe is delicious and it can made any time of the year. I really like this recipe because is has a sweet crust on top and it has pecans.
Ingredients:
- 2 – 29oz cans of sweet potatoes(drained)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1.5 cups brown sugar(divided)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- One tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter(melted)
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease 13×9 dish
- In large bowl, mash the potatoes and the eggs, milk, 3/4 cup brown sugar, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon – Mix well
- Spread this mixture in the dish
- In separate bowl, mix remaining brown sugar, flour, and butter together – then mix in pecans
- Sprinkle this mixture on top
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until brown on top
- Let sit for 10 minutes, serve
