I was recently at a farmer’s market and found a REALLY cool company I would like to share with everyone called Curb to Compost!

We have chickens, so about 99% of our leftover food and food scraps are fed back to our chickens. Not everybody has chickens, or a way to compost their leftover food, so it goes into the trash. Tons of food was go into our landfills every year, when it can ALL be turned into “garden gold.”

Curb To Compost is a local Houston company that will pick up your compostable materials and turn them into wonderful compost. They provide the buckets for you! You simply drop all of your compostable food waste into the bucket. They come and pick it up, and replace your full buckets with clean empty buckets. This will keep TONS of compostable food waste out of your trash every week.
