If you are home, and you want chicks, get in the car, quick and come on down! They won’t last long! This is a long standing tradition here. We have been doing it every year for over 30 years!   We only missed ONE year in all this time, due to a hatch failure at the hatchery. If you can’t make it today, don’t fear, we have started incubating our own eggs, and will have chicks for sell every two to three weeks throughout the summer and may even have some pullets that we grow out on our own at home.

Our chicks are all easter and olive egger, so your eggs from our home grown chicks will be blue, green, pink and even some lavender colors!   We love our colored eggs, they are so pretty, and the chickens that lay the eggs are a gorgeous mixture of colors, too!   Our chickens are a mixture of breeds, roosters are Araucana and the hens consist of Sussex, Maran, Buff Orpington, Araucana, Ameracauna, Rhode Island Red, Black Australorps and more. Some of these hens are even second generation easter and olive eggers and produce the most beautiful eggs for us!
