Cattle Feed and Supplement Update! Purina is a leading company in cattle nutrition and perhaps one of their most widely used products are their Mineral and Molasses tubs. Many of us have gotten used to seeing that bright red tub in the pasture. However, some changes are heading our way.

Starting in September, Purina will be transitioning from the red color molasses tub, to a ClearView tub. This tub will offer up an easy way for producers to check their levels, as the tub will be able to be seen through. Another great benefit of this tub type and style is that it is available for more recycling opportunities than its previous counterpart.

While the tub may look different, it is still the great product we have all come to love. Purina cattle tubs are a great way to help provide protein and nutrients to your herd. Especially in times of drought – like we’re facing now.
