Alex Goes to Vet School: Later this week I will be leaving with Alex and her fiance’, Jared, to help them move to Starkville, Mississippi.  Alex is starting vet school at Mississippi State on June 20th.

I am so excited for her and this awesome opportunity to do something that she was “born to do.” They bought an RV and we will be taking two days to drive it from College Station to Starkville, with a one night layover in Monroe, Louisiana.

We plan on visiting Duck Commander, as Jared has never been, and going to probably eat dinner at Cormier’s. I will be riding with Jared while he pulls the RV and Alex will follow behind with the cats Willis and Lucy. After we get to Mississippi, I will be staying with them for one or two nights and then headed back home.

Alex visited the campus last month to get acquainted with it and describes it as TAMU, but about half the size with lots more trees and some nice hills.
